Twicy Gets Seven Nominations at Central Music Awards 2024
Ghana’s fast rising singer and songwriter Twicy has been nominated for the Central Music Awards in Ghana. The CMA is one of the known largest regional based awards in Ghana announced the nominations for the 2024 edition with Twicy receiving seven nominations for his debut album “Far Away” and hit singles “Lotto” and Live it Up”
“Far Away” is up for Best EP/Album of the Year while “Live it Up” was nominated for Afropop Song of the Year and Song of the Year Awards.
In addition, the “Lotto” video which has been receiving strong airplay on top TV stations in Nigeria and Ghana, was nominated in the Music Video of the Year category.
Twicy has displayed impressive versatility that reflects his ability to carve a niche for himself in an industry that requires artistes to adjust according to the times.
The singer disclosed that he plans to become a notable voice in African music and these nominations is just a stepping stone towards achieving his dream.
Twicy was also nominated for the prestigious ‘Artiste of the Year’ and believes he earned all these nominations through his hard work.
