Ghana Amputee League Clubs Meets Paralympic Committee President
The Ghana Amputee League Clubs Association’s board has met with the President of the Ghana National Paralympic Committee, Mr. Sampson Deen to officially introduce the GALCA members and also congratulate the president on his election as the president of the African Paralympic Committee, APC.
Mr. Sampson thanked the GALCA Board and urged them to continue working together in the best interest of the amputee players and athletes.
The Africa Paralympic Committee (APC) and National Paralympic Committee of Ghana (NPC Ghana) President Samson Deen also vowed to help find a lasting solution to the brouhaha surrounding amputee football in Ghana and make sure that the league kick starts by the close of the year.
Mr. Sampson Deen donated Five Thousand Cedi (GHc5,000) to the Ghana Amputee League Clubs Association (GALCA) to offset some of the operational costs related to the preparation for the National Disability Day Gala which comes off the 23rd of June 2022.
